It’s never easy to believe in someone or something that, on occasion, you disagree with. The recent political theatre that is the United States election comes readily to mind. The natural tendency is to shy-away from conflict, from those uncomfortable moments. Flee your fears, run from discomfort. But, as you’ll hear in my conversation with Christopher Ruocchio, author of the incredible Sun Eater series, sometimes loyalty transcends disagreement. In a time where disagreements are rampant, political, moral, ethical and otherwise, it behooves us to find our loyalties and rise above the chaos.
